Any applicant who is located outside the city limits must make application for an Alcohol Permit through the Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division E-Licensing web site. Once the applicant has completed application on-line the State of  Iowa will  notify Fremont County. The application is then submitted to the Fremont County Board of Supervisors for their approval. After approval by the Board, the IowaABD is notified of approval and a permit is generated by the IowaABD and returned to the Fremont County Auditor who will forward the permit to the applicant. Once the applicant has received their permit, they must post it at the establishment in full view of the public.
